update...

I wanted to post an update to my story last week, but Blogger hasn't been letting me log on. It was an even more interesting day after the leak.

So after dealing with the shower of water in my bedroom, I had to drive to Arvada (Where my folks live) to shower for a meeting that I had at noon. I couldn't miss this meeting because it was with a person that I have been trying to meet with for five months. Every time we have gotten something scheduled, one of us has had to cancel. I had to make it to this meeting.

I got to Arvada. I got to my folks house. As I was taking a shower, what should happen but......the shower-head broke clean off, striking me in the face and spraying water everywhere. I had to rinse off by curling up under the bath faucet.

I was about to leave for Denver again, and as I got into my car I was bit on the back of the neck by a huge spider. As I grabbed it to get it off me, it bit me on the finger.

At that point, I had had enough. I wanted to go to be and be done with the day. The only problem was that the day was hardly over. I still had to spend about eight hours working, and then continue cleaning when I got home.

As awful as that day was, it really just makes me laugh. How many people have hat two plumbing disasters and been bitten by a spider all in one day? I'll remember that day for a long time.
